Event liquor licenses can include special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, family reunions, religious occasions or social affairs. Special Event Permits are required for: community festivals, outdoor concerts, or even farmers markets and tasting events for wineries, breweries or distilleries. All events held within a public forum that wish to obtain liquor permits and sell alcohol will need to apply for a Special Event Permit. This type of alcohol permit will be subject to local government and /or RCMP Police approval. For large-scale events that expect more than 500 people, event organizers must submit more detailed items. Rising Tide Consultants can help clarify and expedite this process both with local government and the Liquor Branch to ensure your temporary liquor license event is seamless and successful.
