A Toronto company is looking to hire five “cannabis connoisseurs” to sample various strains of marijuana.
AHLOT says they will pay the chosen five up to $1,000 a month to “dance with the devil’s lettuce.”
“Has your passion for cannabis made you an expert? Are you the first to know? Are you the one friends ask for recos? If so, you could earn a seat on our inaugural Cannabis Curation Committee,” the company states on its website.
The committee’s aim is to evaluate quality of various strains, highlighting the “nuances that distinguish one strain from another,” after recreational cannabis is legalized in the country on Oct. 17.
AHLOT (A Higher Level Of Thought) describes itself as a “curator brand at heart.” The company says it has developed Canada’s first and only series of Cannabis Collections™, showcasing premium strains from different producers across the country.
“The first collection, called Discovery Series Vol.1™ will be available in Ontario on October 17th,” the company said in a statement. “As we prepare to introduce new strains for future collections, we’re hiring interesting people like you to help us choose them.
“So if you’re a hidden talent with some spare time to document what you already love to do, we’re excited to hear from you.”
Applicants are welcome from cities across Canada. The selected candidates will receive $50 an hour, up to 16 hours a week, in addition to $200 in expenses.
